GeoPassage Specialty Travel - Testimonials
"I just thought you might want to hear how our trip went. It was more wonderful than I could every imagined. Everything went off without a hitch - even the planes were on time. Our guides were articulate, well informed, professional and great fun anticipating everything we needed and what we really wanted to see. Honestly, we felt more like visiting friends than tourists. The hotel was lovely with excellent inhouse restaurants. Then there was the cruise ship - not a ship really but more like a floating 5-star hotel with wonderful rooms, impeccible service and a delicious gourmet buffet served at every meal. The staff of the ship saw to everything beautifully. Everything went off like clockwork - the tours took us everywhere we wanted to go, excellently escorted by our guide. What else can I say? I am completely delighted and impressed. You have made my dream of a trip to Egypt come true in ways I could not have imagined. Thank you so very much - both to you and to Sakkara Tours Int'l who handled the Egyptian arrangements. When we travel abroad again you will be the first person I call. "

"The dig was fantastic. My 5 year old found 9 bones of a triceratops. We had a great time. The services in town are very modest but we knew that going in. Joey was great, we’ll be back!"
Shawna, Eric & Zander, Dino Dig in Montana, 2007

"The favorite part of the tour for me was seeing the historic battlefields, landing beaches and cemeteries. The hotels and food were exceptional except for one instance, when I found a 3 inch long fluorescent green bug in the foyer of my room. The tour guide did get me another room for that night.
The military lecturer did an outstanding job. I truly enjoyed the tour, hotels, food and Lufthansa flights.
Tonia, I could not have asked for better service from you and your office. Thank you very much."
Marvin K., World War II in Europe, May 2007

"The tour was very good as we saw all the WWII sites we expected to see. We were very pleased with Al Shine, our historian (guest lecturer). The hotels and meals were better than expected. Favorite part of the tour was the in-depth knowledge of our historian and fellow travelers."
Margo C., World War II in Europe, May 2007

"The trip was great and exceeded our expectations. We had the "Traveling Aggies" group with us and they were tremendous fun and very knowledgeable. Buck Henderson (guest lecturer), our expert and leader of the Aggies group arranged for some special German guides, who gave us an in-depth analysis of Hurtgen forest battle and a poignant story of how an Aggie ring was found and returned to the family of a metal of honor winner, 40 plus years after he was killed in action.
Suzie, the staff guide, was an expert in her own right and knew her history in great detail. Not only about WW II, but the histories of Normandy, England, France and Germany. Not only that, she spoke French and German fluently, paving the way for easy communication with the natives. She was also able to arrange for a special trip to a French manor farm, with the owner who showed us the location on his farm where Lieutenant Winters and his men took out the German artillery bombarding Utah Beach.
In short, it was a wonderful trip and I would recommend it to anyone interested in the history of WW II in Europe."
Ralph & Barbara F., World War II in Europe, June 2007

"We had a great experience on our trip--the only thing I would have liked is to see more of Cairo. My brother and I would like to take a trip next March 2008 to Poland and Croatia--perhaps this could be arranged by your group--we can't find a trip that includes both countries together. We liked the size of our group in Egypt and the protection we received. Our tour guide was fabulous."
Joan W., 8 Day Nile Voyager, May 2007

"A favorite part of the tour, other than the WW I & II sites, was driving thru the country sides, which was fantastic. I personally did not rate the French food too highly. The German food on the other hand, was outstanding. For me at age 71, the sites and the pace were just right."
Arthur T., World War II in Europe, July 2007

"Our education host was on the entire tour. Having someone so knowledgeable walking us through so much history was priceless. I also enjoyed all of the local guides. I truly enjoyed this trip."

"Superb job on the Montana dig. Everything from flights to the rent-a-car went flawless. Jordan MT. and Paleo World are a great bunch of people. I was treated like family. I recommend this Dino dig to anyone who is interested in the experience. And it is truly an experience.

"I am writing to thank you for the exceptional service I have received from you. You all have been outstanding from my initial query right through to ensuring my travel documentation was placed in the post. You can imagine my surprise and delight when it arrived home in Australia 5 days later!
I can heartily recommend Geopassage to anyone - especially if you are not US based - as it is sometimes difficult and often very uncertain to deal with foreign companies. Geopassage made the whole experience pleasurable and most important, secure." - David Maerz

"We're really looking forward to this trip. My father, especially, had such a wonderful time this past June on the D-Day tour. He was amazed at all of the people who came up to him, thanked him, and even asked him to come to their homes to share a "drink of remembrance". He really wanted to walk on Omaha Beach 60 years after he had crawled onto it, but his legs weren't strong enough to climb down to the beach at the draw where he had landed. He's determined to walk on that beach when we return for the tour next May." - Dot Shelmet

"Our two-week trip was outstanding. The guides and drivers were very accommodating. The food and accommodations were excellent." - Allan McCorkle

"Several of our domestic flight segments were cancelled due to weather and, thankfully, GeoPassage had alternative modes of transport in place so that we didn't forego any of the destinations that we wanted to visit. The personal care that the staff exhibited was extraordinary. They anticipated our needs and acted on them immediately which made our trip, with 2 small children, move along amazingly smooth." - James and Susan Witten, Washington DC

"This is the most beautiful travel site I have encountered on the web. The navigation and information is top notch. This year I am going to London, but next year I will be traveling to Italy and this is the site I will use then. Thank you for this wonderful site and keep up the good work. " - Mark Phillips
