For a relaxing and enjoyable evening, take a one and a half hour Sunset Cruise sight-seeing through the residential waterways and the pristine barrier islands south of Pass-a-Grille.
The Sunset Cruise is aboard the same 49 passenger Shell Key Shuttle catamaran. Reservations are required as departure times vary with the seasons - usually sunset cruises begin approximately one hour before the actual sunset.
Remember to bring appropriate clothing if the evenings have been cool. The wind chill on the water is often greater than on land. Bring snacks if you desire on the cruise; beverages may also be brought along.
This tour includes five residential islands and takes you from historic cypress beach cabins to modern multimillion dollar mansions. Several unspoiled barrier islands are also toured, with numerous shorebirds, usually dolphins and (in summer) sometimes manatees. Narrations, questions and answers provide an educational and sometimes humorous aspect to each cruise.
