The Snoqualmie Falls, 45 minutes outside Seattle, will astound you with its height and splendor. A full 100 feet taller than Niagra Falls, the area can be gazed upon from an overlook or from below (requires a steep half-mile hike). The Falls, featured in David Lynch's "Twin Peaks" television series, are quite famous, drawing fans from around the world.
