This tour takes you to the many Underground Railroad' sites in the area with a wonderfully educational narrative given by the Kennett Underground Railroad Center. The Center is a multicultural and diverse organization, celebrates the values that brought an end to slavery in America and the heroes whose courage led them to dare so much, simply to live a decent life. They seek to identify and preserve buildings, artifacts, and documents associated with that inspiring time in our history for the purpose of educating present generations and those to come.
Our 16-passenger van takes you on a narrated tour, the third Sunday of each month this summer: June 15, July 20, August 17 and Sept. 21. Tours last one hour.
