Nuuanu Pali Lookout, along Pali Highway, is one of the most breathtaking, non-marine environments in Oahu. The lookout is a section of the Koolau range where Kamehameha the Great successfully battled the Oahu natives (by throwing them over the edge of the cliff!) to unify Hawaii in 1795.
