The Houston Rockets were actually conceived in San Diego in 1967, but due to poor fan attendance, they moved to Houston in 1971 where they have been pleasing the crowds ever since. The team was hot in 1994 and 1995, wining titles both years. Currently many well-known players call Houston home, and continue to draw the fans to Compaq Center game after game.
