Dinosaur Ridge is part of the Morrison Fossil Beds National Natural Landmark. We are an outdoor museum located along the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains, near Morrison, Colorado and only 15 miles west of downtown Denver, CO. This outdoor classroom features historically famous Jurassic dinosaur bones, such as Stegosaurus and Apatosaurus, discovered in 1877, and over 300 Cretaceous dinosaur footprints, attributed to ornithopod and theropod dinosaurs.
