Fair Park is located just outside of downtown and covers approximately 277 acres of land. Included are 9 Dallas museums, exceptional 1930's art deco architecture, performing arts facilities, and the Cotton Bowl Stadium.

Special reminders of history are located within this large park including a Texas Vietnam Memorial, Smith Fountain, and Leonhardt Lagoon. As one of the largest parks in Dallas this area is also used for the annual Texas State Fair, which over three million people attend every year.
