National Aquarium

The National Aquarium is a spectacular tribute to water-loving animal and plant life. Exhibits are devoted to Octopus, Puffins, Diamondback Terrapins, Sharks, and Dolphins just to name a few; there is also a recently added snake exhibit that is positively delightful. Open July-Aug 9am-8pm; March-June & Sept-Oct Mon-Thurs 9am-5pm, Friday 9am-8pm; Nov-Feb Mon-Thurs 10am-5pm, Friday 10am-8pm. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas.
