This morning tour will take you past all the famous sights around London's West End, including Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, Whitehall, Downing Street, Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column. We include a guided tour of Westminster Abbey* and a stop at Buckingham Palace for the Changing of the Guard.
Westminster Abbey has been the traditional coronation site for English monarchs since William the Conqueror. The Abbey is also the burial place of kings and queens, and many of the most famous people in British history, including Sir Laurence Olivier, Charles Dickens, George Frideric Handel, Alfred Lord Tennyson and Sir Isaac Newton.
Accompanied by a military band, a detachment of the Queen's Foot Guard march to Buckingham Palace in their bearskins and red tunics, and a change with the Old Guard.
*Due to church services, Westminster Abbey is closed to visitors on Sunday. Instead, you shall visit the Cloisters and Chapter House at the Westminster Abbey or the Imperial War Museum.
This tour picks up from most major hotels.
