This complete full day tour of London introduces you to the most famous sites of the city. The tour begins with a panoramic drive around Parliament Square, to see Westminster Abbey, where many of our Kings, Queens, Statesmen, poets and writers are buried. See Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. Then it's off on a guided tour of Sir Christopher Wren's masterpiece - St Paul's Cathedral - crowned by the magnificent dome that is so much a part of the London skyline. In recent years it has seen the wedding of Charles, Prince of Wales, to Lady Diana Spencer and, most recently, the thanksgiving services for both the Golden Jubilee and 80th Birthday of Her Majesty the Queen. Accompanied by a military band, a detachment of the Queen's Foot Guard, in their bearskins and red tunics, march to Buckingham Palace and see the infamous Changing of the Guard. Time for a hearty lunch on board one of London's finest restaurants (not included). R.S. Hispaniola is moored opposite the London Eye, with spectacular views of the River. After lunch, a river cruise will take us from Westminster to the Tower of London. Many interesting bridges span the Thames and some of London's most important landmarks are located on or near to the river. We'll get stunning views of the Houses of Parliament, London Eye, St. Paul's Cathedral, Shakespeare's Globe theatre and the famous Tower Bridge. Founded over 900 years ago and guarded by Yeoman Warders since the 14th century, the Tower of London has been a Royal Palace, an armoury, a place of imprisonment and execution, and home to the priceless "Crown Jewels", including the enormous Cullinan diamonds and the extraordinary Koh-i-Noor. The tour continues through the City of London. Discover the fascinating history of 'the square mile' including the Great Fire that so nearly destroyed it in 1666. See the Mansion House, home of the Lord Mayor of London and the Bank of England, known as 'The Old Lady of Threadneedle Street.'

DEPARTURE: Pick-up is available from most London hotels. Please provide your accommodation information when making your reservation and a pick-up time will be provided, if available. Otherwise, the tour will depart from Victoria Coach Station.

PLEASE NOTE:
*Due to church services, St Paul's Cathedral is closed to visitors on Sunday. We will show you the Cloisters and Chapter House of Westminster Abbey.
*Occasionally there my not be a Changing of the Guard; on these occasions we will visit Horseguards Parade.
*Lunch is not included in the tour price.
