The house contains beautiful 18th century furniture, paintings mostly from Buckingham Palace, and an important collection of porcelain. Enjoy the magnificent plaster-work by Cortese and the very rare Chinese wallpaper. The house is full of 18th century treasures all put together with great style to make a most inviting lived-in home. Winner of the 1999 Yorkshire in Bloom Competition, the gardens are a haven of peace and tranquility. The herbaceous and rose borders are full of rare and interesting plants.
