Castle Howard is the magnificent 18th century home of the Howard Family. Known worldwide as 'Brideshead' it also featured as 'Longlands' in the television series of 'The Buccaneers'. Built in 1699 it celebrated its 300th anniversary last year. Set in 1,000 acres of breathtaking parkland which include the internationally famous Rose Gardens. Ray Wood is a unique collection of rare trees, shrubs, rhododendrons, magnolias and azaleas.
