A world of animals in a setting of great natural beauty at Marwell Zoological Park, 6 miles south-east of Winchester. Marwell's 100 acre park is home to over 200 species of animals. Come face to face with a Siberian Tiger, hear the jungle call of the Gibbons, see the stunning colors of tropical frogs and plants! Thrill to the sight of both favorite and unfamiliar animals - Giraffe, Meerkats, Lemurs, Snow Leopards, Jaguar, Cheetah, Rhino, Zebra, Leopard, Llama, Lion, Tamarins and Wallabies and more. The variety of birds include Owls, Parrots, Pheasants, Cranes, Kookaburras and Ostrich. There is a special section in which the nocturnal species enjoy a moonlit world in the nightlife exhibit.
