Hyde Park, together with Kensington Gardens to the west, is the largest of the three royal parks, and perhaps it's most famous. The park contains a large variety of monuments and gardens and the visitor is free to explore the many winding paths through fragrant floral gardens, or stroll along the banks of the Serpentine, perhaps taking in the lovely Italian fountains in the Long Water section. One of the more intriguing elements of the park is the Speakers' Corner, where people have long been free to speak their mind--as long as they respect the Monarch.
