Bourton-on-the-Water is often referred to as the Venice of the Cotswolds. The River Windrush runs alongside the main street, where you can enjoy walking by its shady green paths and admire the mellow architecture. Broadway - Here 16th and 17th Century cottages and ancient inns line the main street, which slopes gently up from the attractive village green.
Blenheim Palace, with included afternoon tea - built for the first Duke of Marlborough in the early 18th century remains the home of the Marlborough family today. You will have time to explore the grounds and Garden of this splendid Palace.
