Opened in 1993, this museum is believed to be unique in the fact that it is the only public museum which examines all the world's major religious faiths. The themes of life, death and the hereafter are explored through various works of art. Three main exhibition halls depict Art, World Religions and Religion in Scottish History Its attractions include Salvador Dali's world renowned painting Christ of St John of the Cross and Britain's only authentic Japanese Zen garden.
