The Old House Museum near Albert Park is located in a replica of an 1849 colonial home, typical of any early Durban settler. The museum is a verandah house with notable architecture and filled with artifacts from the 19th century including clothing and old furniture. The whole scene is an excellent depiction of Durban life in the 1800s.
