You will be picked up from your hotel and taken to the valley of Ourika. It is typical of the High Atlas mountains to be particularly green throughout the year. You will cross the Ouirka river, where the busiest Souk in the proximity of Marrakesh is held every Monday. The clear fast flowing waters on the Oued Ourika cut through the foothills of the Atlas Mountains and irrigate the Ourika valley with its green terraces, orchards and crops. The valley is full of small villages with houses clustering together on the plains or near the water. After a stop of about 30 minutes in the souk, you will continue on to discover the high peaks of the Atlas Mountains that surround the valley.
