Travel in Shaba National Reserve

Shaba National Reserve is right next to the Samburu and Buffalo Springs reserves, and borders the Ewaso Ngiro river. Shaba has become famous thanks to the naturalist George Adamson and his lioness Elsa. The scenery is magnificent, and it is interesting to visit it while on a trip to Samburu. Only during the dry season do the animals come to Shaba: generally October and February.
