In Masai and Kilimambogo, the name means "mountain of the buffalo." Situated on 85 km, just north of Nairobi, this was the final resting place of the famous hunter and philanthropist Sir William Norhtrup McMillan. A paradise for hikers, sightseers, campers and nature lovers, with a clear view of Nairobi and other lowlands. Buffalo, colobus monkeys, baboons, bushbuck, impala and duikeer can be seen, as well as abundant bird life.
