Adjoining Tanzania's Serengeti National Park, the Mara provides one of nature's most dramatic spectacles- the annual migration from July to September, of over a million wildebeest and zebra. Other animals seen in great numbers include elephant, buffalo, giraffe and antelopes including impala, hartebeest and eland. Cheetahs can be seen racing after prey, whilst other predators include lion, leopard, hyena, wild dog and jackal are also plentiful.
