Visit the old town in Mombassa to experience the traditions of Arab and Indian on the architecture and style of this unique coastal paradise. Take this walking tour of the city, as most streets are just wide enough for a camel or donkey, which are still commonly used today. Numerous mosques, built by different groups of Muslims arriving at various times in Kenya fill the city. Strong Portuguese influences can also be felt in this harbor island.
