Included in the amusement of Urban Resort City of Kobe is the world’s first pearl museum. Here you can wander around the isles of pearls and explore all aspects of pearl culture and production. Since its opening in 1974 the Tasaki Pearl Gallery has welcomed many VIPs from all over the world. This 7-storey building with 4 showroom floors and 3 floors of demonstration rooms catering to visiting groups is a highly-appreciated attraction on the Tokyo tourism scene. The museum is open from 9 am to 6 pm and admission is free.
