National Diet Building

The Diet Building houses the activities of the Diet, the legislative branch of the Japanese government. Construction of the building commenced in 1920 and was finally completed seventeen years later in 1936. If you stand at the main gate facing the building, the House of Representatives is to the left, and the House of Councilors is to the right. Reservations are required to tour the facility Courtesy of Japan Tourism Board.
