In the city of Hakone, about a 90min commute out of Toky is the Hakone Shrine. An important place of worship and a treasure trove of historical artifacts. Many generals worshipped the Hakone Shrine, which was built in 757. Inside the treasure storage are pictures, old books, art objects, and the portrait of Priest Mangan, which is dedicated as an Important Cultural Property.
