Maishima is a manmade island off the northern port of Osaka. The comprehensive sports park on Maishima Sports Island offers the pleasures of baseball, tennis, soccer, rugby, and even park-and-camp outdoor camping. A popular attraction is the Maishima Grand Prix Park, where you can experience for yourself the thrill of real-life motor sports. Future plans include construction of an indoor ski slope, a marina, and a hotel.
