Underground Naval Headquarters

Located in Tomigusuku, just outside of Naha, is this war-site museum. Those interested in World War II history should definitely go to Tomigusuku, where the Imperial Navy had its underground headquarters. This is where 4,000 officers and men committed suicide rather than surrender to U.S. forces, in 1945.
