Padua

Pilgrims from across the world converge in Padua to visit the final resting place of Saint Antonio - the Patron Saint of Miracles. For almost half a century the faithful have come to pay their respects and to pray for divine assistance. The shrine, (located in the left transept of the church, in the Cappella del Santo), is covered with countless notes, photographs, and mementos, usually thanking the Saint for his miraculous intervention.
