Leonardo Da Vinci's magnificent religious masterpiece is breathtaking to behold. Perhaps the most famous example of one of the most frequently painted themes in the world lies in a perpetual state of restoration in the grounds of the Santa Maria delle Grazie church (Our Lady of Grace). This enormous work is in a hermetically sealed room surrounded by attendants and their machinery of restoration. Yet even this cannot take away from the power this almost perfect example of Renaissance art brings to the modern viewer.
