Cappella Colleoni

Cappella Colleoni Approx. Time: 0 hours
Activity Level: Easiest

The Cappella Colleoni is a renaissance building in Piazza Vecchia. It looks like a church but it was actually a burying chapel - the one of the famous condottiere (sort of military leader) Colleoni. It was built by the Italian Sculptor and Architect Giovanni Antonio Amadeo (1447 - 1522).
The façade is wonderful: it's made of marble coming from different places and of different colours. Inside there are some facinating paintings by Tiepolo as well.
