The Duomo is one of the greatest Gothic buildings in Italy. Construction dragged on for 3 centuries, and the plans took 30 years to draw up. The exterior is extremely ornate, composed of many columns, spires and sculptures. The interior contains the work of Luca Signorelli, known as the Last Judgment.
