The surprisingly serene and lovely cloisters of Saint Catherine are still occupied by nuns following her religious order. There is a lovely and simple enclosed porch and the sisters have been known to unlock the “private” chapels where the quiet visitor can have a moment of repose in the very beautiful rooms of worship.
