Midway between Tel-Aviv and Hafia, Caesarea is a dream-come-true for the history enthusiast. Major excavations and multiple expeditions over the past 20 years have uncovered much of the city’s impressive Roman and Crusader remains, adding to Caesarea’s many historical attractions. Some of the sites around the city include the Roman theatre, the aqueduct, and Crusader city, which still includes remains of the city’s old buildings, fort and even the ancient water supply.
