MEETING POINT:Jerusalem Gate Hotel. The full day tour will take you from Elazaria, St. Lazaros town, to the bedouin territories of the Gihalin tribe, to see the Marsaba Monastery. Enjoy a picnic lunch (kosher) served next to the beautiful mamelik building A-Nabi-Mussa. Return to Jerusalem through Jericho and Wadi Kelt (St. George Monastery).
This tour departs Tuesdays and Saturdays at 9:15 am from Jerusalem Gate Hotel.
Upon request, pick up service is available from the major hotels at no extra charge.
Part of this tour will be done on foot.
Modest attire is required on this tour. (Women - skirt or long pants/shoulder covered. Men - long pants/head covering.)
Warm jacket are strongly recommended. Tour will be done in special desert vehicles. In case of inclement weather, tour may be cancelled. Please confirm the tour a day in advance.
