Fewa Tal (Fewa Lake) is perhaps the most important contributor to the ambience of Pokhra. One goes to Pokhara to relax in the seductive placidity of its ambience. The two main touristy areas, Lakeside and Damside, are developments around the Lake, which is the second largest lake in Nepal. One can lazily relax there with a book, or rent boats and paddle aimlessly, or just admire the mirror-like reflection of the Annapurna mountain range on its peaceful water.
