Mekedatu, meaning "Goat's Leap", refers to a specific point in the Cauvery river. At this point in the Cauvery river, the water squeezes itself through a rocky channel across which a goat could leap. Enjoy this picnic spot by fishing or relaxing at the water's edge. Also visit the Sangameshwara Temple nearby.
