Jean de Bernuy was the most important Toulouse Pastel merchant of his time. In 1504, he contracted the erection of the city’s highest tower onto his residence, and later, in 1530 , employed the architect Privat to design and build for him - a veritable palace. This wonderful expanse of passion combined with ingenuity is a pleasure to behold.
