From its gothic inception to renaissance decoration, St. Eustache is one of the most beautiful and interesting churches in Paris. Modeled on Notre-Dame, the church was built between 1532-1637 and recalls the Renaissance era with its extraordinary arches, pillars and columns. The church also represents the eclectic mix of both classical and modern French taste by the placing of the statue of a sculptured head, L'Ecoute, by Henri de Miller, before it.
