La Madeleine

Started in 1764 during the reign of Louis XV and intended to be a model of the St-Louis-des-Invalide Church. Designed after a Greek temple, La Madeleine was not consecrated as a church until 1842. The recently renovated building now holds concerts in the evenings while remaining a place of worship.
