The Historic and Archaeological Museum of Orléans is one of the finest Renaissance buildings in Orléans. This museum houses the internationally renowned treasure of Neuvy-en-Sullias, an exceptional collection of Gaul and Gallo-roman bronzes. Alongside these works of art, other collections remind us of the history of the city (Joan of Arc, ensigns), the goods produced there (popular imagery, fine metal work, porcelain ….) and, in a new room devoted to the port of Orléans and the Loire navy, the city's activities.
