This monastery and Franciscan museum is situated in a 17th-century Franciscan convent. The very feel of the monastery is peaceful and serene, a true transformation back to the Franciscan way of life. Art on display includes a large wooden Baroque altar piece with the fallen Jesus, a 15th-century Seraphic Cross, and paintings by Louis Brea.
