Cathedrale St AndreApprox. Time: 2 hours
Activity Level: Easiest

The Cathedrale St-Andre was constructed under the rule of Pope Urban II, and although it is not one of Bordeaux's greatest gothic masterpieces, the construction and design is an interesting contrast to the other Gothic edifices of the time. The cathedral was built between the 11th and 16th centuries, and has undergone major renovation in the 19th century. Amazingly intricate stone carvings of the Last Supper and the Ascension decorate the facade of this grand cathedral.
