This 18th-century town house features an admirable collection of paintings dating back as early as the 16th century. In addition to mostly French paintings, the museum also hosts Italian paintings as well as Greek, Roman, and Etruscan sculptures. Just a few minutes walk from the rue Joseph-Vernet, the museum displays works by Theodore Gericault, Camille Corot, and Amedeo Modligliani, among others.
