The awe-inspiring Temple of Karnak, which took 2,000 years to build and covers 50 acres, is the setting for this amazing sound and light show. The show at Karnak portrays the history of Thebes, including the lives of the pharaohs who built the necropolis. Most people consider their hour and a half length well worth their time. Show times are at 6:30 PM, 7:45 PM and 9:00 PM. Various shows are in English, Japanese, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Arabic, so it is good to check out which performance one wishes to attend prior to showtime.
