This 14th century temple owes its name to the colored tiles that encompass the interior. The tiles were added in a flower design by a Turkish official who was homesick for the grand mosques of Istanbul. It houses the oldest marble minbars in the Islamic world. The top of the mosque offers an amazing view of the Citidel to the south and Khan el-Khalili to the north.
