The tropical garden of Aswan is a main tourist attraction. Many kings and presidents have visited it. It is a must visit for tourists to enjoy the beauty and charm of a true tropical island in the great River Nile.
The gardens are located in Aswan city behind Elephantine Island. West of the gardens there are the tombs of the ancient Egyptian Kings and Agha-Khan tomb.
It is divided into 27 beds, every bed has the certain kind of plants. The plants in this garden represent the old plant such as Ficus cycamorus and Phoenix dactylifera. Then it was planted with different trees and shrubs from Orman botanical garden and plants imported from India and tropical countries in south - east of Asia.
