A ride to the top of this Eiffel Tower will literally take your breath away, unless traveling up the center of the tower at 340 feet per minute pushed up against the door of a glass elevator doesn't bother you. So, acrophobics and the faint of heart beware! Although the observation deck, at 460 feet, is half the height of the Stratosphere, the center-Strip site is perfect for the tower - a straight glimpse south affords views of the Monte Carlo, Luxor and Mandalay Bay, and a bird's eye view of the Aladdin. Turn west for the best view of the Bellagio fountain show. Look east for a spectacular view of the mountains. Windows cut out of the 5,000-ton welded-steel structure are just big enough for taking unobstructed photos, and high-powered lenses are available for closer viewing. In all, the replica stands 540 feet, about half the 1,051 feet of the original. It also offers the posh Eiffel Tower Restaurant, which is by reservation only.
