  Travel in Brasilia

Travel in Brasilia Brasilia has been the capital of Brazil since 1960. The city was designed by two famous architects, Oscar Niemeyer and Lucio Costa. When visiting this city, one should take note of its modern architecture, especially in its governmental buildings. The city was actually built in the shape of an airplane. Built in the 1950's, the city was made to hold 500,000 people. Now, the population is 1,598,000 which has forced most people to live in poor communities outside the city. Brasilia has become a difficult city to live in and visit.
