It is well served by public transportation as many bus lines and a subway traverse it. Some of the sights to be seen on this street are the Masp, the House of the Roses, the cultural Trianon park, various cinemas, restaurants and centers. With its cinemas, the Bixiga and the nocturnal life of the Gardens, the locals consider the avenue to be the "face of São Paulo". To walk in the Avenida Paulista is as to walk in 5th Avenue in New York. One cannot explain the sensation, its something you have to just experience.
